I’m Dr. Matt Lawler, Principal Dentist and Clinical Director at Peelhouse Dental Care. With over 30 years of experience in dentistry and a Master’s degree in Endodontology, I’ve dedicated my career to helping patients restore their smiles and confidence through dental implants and advanced restorative dentistry.

 

My Background and Education

I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1995 with a degree in dentistry. My interest in complex dental cases and patient-focused care led me to complete a Master’s degree in Endodontology from the University of Chester in 2016.

Being a KOL also means that I’m involved in helping to shape the future of implant dentistry by advising on new product development and providing feedback on implant systems.

 

Mentoring, Training and Supporting Dentists

From 2018 to 2024, I was a clinical mentor at the ICE Dental Institute in Salford Quays, where I supervised postgraduate dentists learning implant dentistry. I also lectured on the implant-restorative component of the Salford University Dental Implant MSc Programme at ICE Hospital.

I continue to mentor dentists in implant dentistry, helping them develop their skills and confidence in real clinical settings. In addition to treating patients at Peelhouse Dental Care, I regularly travel to dental practices across Greater Manchester, The Midlands and beyond, working alongside other dental teams to provide implant treatments for their patients and offer in-practice mentoring.

This allows dentists to gain hands-on experience, refine their technique, and deliver better care to their own patients.
